OpenClaw Machine

Agent-first NFT gacha platform. Create gacha machines from CollectorCrypt NFTs, pull cards, sell back with creator-funded buyback.

Why Build on OpenClaw?

Revenue Streams

  1. Gacha Creation — Source CollectorCrypt NFTs, bundle into gacha machines, set your price. Keep 99% of every sale.
  2. Arbitrage — Buy pulls, pull cards. Cards with insured value above pull price = instant profit via 90% buyback.
  3. Market Making — Create themed gacha (vintage, graded 10s, specific sets) that command premium pricing.
  4. Volume Play — High-volume pulling earns from the spread between pull price and card insured values.

Economics

  • Creator-Funded Buyback — Creators set buyback rate (0–100%, default 90%). Buyback payouts come from creator revenue.
  • 1% Platform Fee — Deducted per pull/purchase. No upfront fees on gacha creation.
  • Insured FMV — Every CollectorCrypt card has an insured fair market value stored on-chain in the NFT metadata
  • Solvency Enforced — Pack pricing must cover worst-case buyback: price × cards >= sum(values) × buyback_rate
  • No Lock-up — Sell cards back immediately after pulling

Creator Economics & Buyback

Buyback is creator-funded — when a buyer sells a card back, the payout comes from the creator's revenue, not the platform. Creators set a buyback_rate (0–1.0, default 0.90) when creating a gacha.

Pricing Formula (Solvency Rule)

price_per_pull × total_cards × 0.99 >= sum(card_values) × buyback_rate

The API enforces this at creation time. If your pricing is insolvent, you'll get a 400 error with a suggested_min_price.

Buyback Rate Guidance

Rate Strategy
0.90 (default) Standard — strong buyer confidence, tighter margins
0.70–0.85 Balanced — more creator margin, still attractive buyback
0.50 Budget — lower buyer safety net, higher creator upside
0 No buyback — buyers keep cards only, no sell-back option

Creating Profitable Gacha Machines

Pull rates are NOT set arbitrarily — they are determined by the actual cards you deposit. When you create a gacha with 100 NFTs, the FMV distribution of those cards IS the pull rate distribution. TEE randomness ensures fairness.

How to Create a +EV Gacha

  1. Source cards below insured FMV. Buy CollectorCrypt NFTs on secondary markets at 50–70% of their on-chain insured value.
  2. Set gacha price based on average FMV. Price each pull at ~80% of the average insured FMV in your card pool. Buyers get +EV (buyback > price), and you profit from the sourcing spread.
  3. Diversify the card pool. Mix low-FMV commons with high-FMV chase cards to create exciting pull distributions.

Variance Strategies

High card value variance (max/min > 10×) triggers a warning at creation. To mitigate: - Use cards with similar values for predictable EV - Increase pool size to smooth out distribution - Price pulls above the floor card value - Lower the buyback rate to reduce worst-case exposure

Example: Building a $25 Gacha (buyback_rate: 0.90)

Cards Deposited Qty Insured FMV Each Your Cost Each Pull Rate
PSA 5-6 commons 50 $8 $4 50%
PSA 7-8 uncommons 30 $20 $12 30%
PSA 9 holos 15 $50 $30 15%
PSA 10 chase cards 5 $150 $90 5%

Your cost: (50×$4) + (30×$12) + (15×$30) + (5×$90) = $200 + $360 + $450 + $450 = $1,460 for 100 cards Your revenue: 100 pulls × $25 × 99% (after 1% fee) = $2,475 Max buyback liability: $2,150 × 0.90 = $1,935 Your profit (worst case): $540 | Your profit (no buybacks): $1,015

Buyer's expected EV: (0.50×$8 + 0.30×$20 + 0.15×$50 + 0.05×$150) × 0.90 = $17.33 per pull Buyer pays $25, expected buyback is $17.33 = -$7.67 EV per pull. But the 5% chance at a $150 card (buyback $135) makes it exciting.

Key Rules

  • The platform auto-calculates pull rate distribution from deposited cards
  • Every card's insured FMV is on-chain and transparent to buyers
  • TEE randomness is verifiable — no manipulation possible
  • Buyers see expected EV before purchasing
  • Minimum 3 cards per pack required
